JULIA

Wheat variety JULIE is a high-yielding and versatile soft winter wheat variety developed by the Czech company Selgen and registered in Ukraine in 2017. This variety is characterized by high yield potential reaching up to 12 tons per hectare and stable performance under various growing conditions. JULIE is suitable for cultivation in different climatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppe, and polonies, making it popular among agricultural enterprises.

The variety belongs to ultra-early or very early maturing types with a medium-length vegetation period of 265-270 days. Plants are medium-height, 88-92 cm tall, with high thousand-grain weight ranging from 40.3 to 47.1 grams. JULIE exhibits high winter hardiness, resistance to lodging, shattering, drought, and temperature fluctuations, as well as excellent resistance to major wheat head and leaf diseases. Thanks to these qualities, the variety demonstrates high adaptability and reliability under various agronomic conditions.

The grain quality of the JULIE variety is highly valued for its excellent baking properties and high protein content (13.6%) and gluten content (27.5-28.4%). Dough strength falls within the range of 282-316 W, ensuring good bread volume — 1000-1080 ml. The variety responds well to intensive mineral nutrition, enabling the production of high-quality grain with high energy content. Its universal sowing window and affordable price make JULIE an attractive choice for various cultivation and grain production directions.
