Description
Chayka pepper fruits have a cube-like shape with four chambers, large size — about 10.5-12 cm in diameter and height, average weight of 300-350 grams. The thickness of the fleshy wall varies from 5 to 7 mm, sometimes reaching 10 mm, giving the fruits density and juiciness. Fruit color changes from dark green in technical ripeness to vibrant red in biological ripeness. The flesh is fleshy, elastic, and has a distinct sweet taste, retained during transportation and storage.
Chayka F1 hybrid possesses resistance to common pepper diseases, including viruses PVY, Tm, and fungal infections X spp., enhancing cultivation reliability. The pepper is versatile in use: it is used fresh, in home cooking, canning, heat treatment, and freezing. Chayka F1 pepper seeds are supplied by the Dutch producer Bejo Zaden, packed in 1000 units, suitable for sowing in trays or seedling boxes.
