Description
The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential and marketability, providing yields up to 339 centners per hectare. Fruits have excellent storability and transportability, making them popular in the fresh produce market. Sugar content in the fruits is about 3.8%, and ascorbic acid content is 150.5 mg per 100 g of dry matter, giving them a pleasant taste and high nutritional value.
Danubius exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including fusarium, anthracnose, xanthomonosis, tobacco mosaic virus, and bacterial leaf spot. These qualities ensure stable fruiting and allow cultivation in various climatic conditions. Due to its early and uniform fruiting, as well as adaptation to plastic tunnels, Danubius is an excellent choice for obtaining early fresh produce for the market.
