Sweet pepper variety Heracles is a large-fruited, early-maturing variety with a vegetative period of 95-105 days. The plant is medium-height, reaching 70-80 cm, compact but requires staking and stem pruning. This variety adapts well to cultivation in protected environments such as greenhouses and polytunnels, and responds positively to regular feeding and watering. Heracles has resistance to Fusarium wilt and tobacco mosaic virus, significantly enhancing crop resilience and reliability.

The fruits of the Heracles pepper are large, cube-shaped with 3-4 chambers, slightly ribbed, with a wall thickness of 7-9 mm. Average fruit weight is about 200-300 g, length reaches 11-12 cm, and diameter 9-10 cm. In technical maturity, the fruits are dark green, turning to a vibrant red in biological maturity. The flesh is juicy, fleshy, firm, with a distinct sweet taste and aroma, making this variety especially appealing for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, pickling, and freezing.

Heracles variety is characterized by high yield — 2.5 to 3.5 kg per square meter — as well as excellent transportability and long storage life, allowing it to retain its appearance and flavor qualities during transport and storage. Due to its characteristics, this pepper is widely used in cooking and preservation, and is valued for its high vitamin C content. Cultivation is done through seedlings, with sowing recommended in February to obtain high-quality planting material.
