LAGUNA — this is a mid-early hybrid of sweet pepper, intended for cultivation in open ground and greenhouses. The plant features a powerful, tall, and heat-resistant type, with high disease resistance and a prolonged fruiting period. The fruits have a cube-shaped form with four chambers, measuring 10-12 cm in length and weighing 230-250 g. They are characterized by juicy, fleshy walls up to 8 mm thick, sweet taste, and pleasant aroma. Immature fruits are greenish-white, turning bright red with a glossy surface upon ripening.

The LAGUNA hybrid is well-suited for storage and transportation, preferring fertile soils. It is ideal for various culinary purposes: vegetable slicing, salads, preparation of vegetable stew, canning, stuffing, and freezing. For cultivation, seed sowing is recommended in February with seed depth not exceeding 1 cm, pinching in the 1-2 true leaf stage, and transplanting seedlings in May. After transplanting, side shoots and leaves should be removed up to the first fork, and the plant should be tied to a support. It is important to avoid planting sweet and hot pepper varieties together to prevent cross-pollination and flavor changes in fruits.
