LIGHTNING GOLD

The Lightning Gold pepper is a mid-early hybrid with a maturation period of 105-110 days, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is semi-spreading, reaching a height of 1 to 1.2 meters, with large dark-green leaves. The fruits are elongated-conical, smooth, and glossy, light-yellow in technical ripeness and bright-yellow in biological ripeness. Fruit weight ranges from 100 to 120 grams, with a wall thickness of about 5 mm, ensuring juiciness and firmness.

This hybrid has a sweet taste with a mild spiciness, due to its slightly spicy septum, giving the pepper a pleasant kick. High sugar content makes the fruits especially tasty. Up to 20 fruits can form on one plant, ensuring abundant fruiting. Lightning Gold pepper is resistant to diseases and resilient under adverse conditions, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones.

The pepper is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as for making spicy salads, paprika seasoning, drying, and freezing. Thanks to its flavor profile and versatility, it is ideal for home cooking and preservation. Yield under plastic coverings can reach up to 8 kg per square meter, confirming the high productivity of this hybrid.
