Description
Mavera fruits are cube-shaped, with thick walls of 5-10 mm thickness and a weight of 180 to 300 grams, depending on growing conditions. In technical maturity, they are green, and in biological maturity, they are deep red or yellow (depending on the hybrid variant). Characteristically, fruits ripen synchronously, with 8-12 fruits per plant. The pepper is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning, processing, and freezing, making it a versatile product for both fresh produce markets and industrial processing.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), Pepper Mosaic Virus (PMMoV), and moderate resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV). It shows a high yield of marketable produce — up to 3.7 kg per square meter, with standard fruit yield reaching up to 99%. Mavera pepper responds well to improved agronomic practices, is resistant to wilts and foliar infections, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield throughout the entire growing period.
