Description
NAIS fruits have an elongated-conical shape with a smooth glossy surface. In technical maturity, they are light green, and upon full ripening, they turn bright red. The fruit weight is 180-200 grams, length reaches 14-15 cm, and the base cone width is 8-10 cm. The fruit wall thickness varies from 5 to 7 mm, making them juicy and fleshy. Inside, the fruits contain 2-3 chambers. Due to their dense structure and durability, the fruits are well-suited for transport and long-term storage, making this hybrid suitable both for fresh consumption and processing.
Growing the NAIS hybrid requires sowing seedlings in late February, with seed planting depth around 1 cm and transplanting in the 1-2 true leaf stage. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground in late May to early June, with planting density of 25-35 thousand plants per hectare depending on the technology. Pepper is recommended to be grown separately from hot varieties to avoid cross-pollination and maintain the sweet taste of the fruits. This hybrid is a useful dietary product rich in vitamins A, C, B, E, minerals, and fiber, and is ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for cooking, stuffing, frying, and canning.
