Description
Ontara peppers have a rounded, flattened, heart-shaped form, with thick walls approximately 10 millimeters thick, one of the thickest flesh among peppers. The weight of a single fruit varies from 60 to 70 grams, sometimes reaching up to 100 grams. In technical maturity, the fruits are white-green, and in biological maturity, they turn bright red. The flesh is juicy and crisp, with no voids, providing a pleasant sweet taste and aroma.
The Ontara variety is versatile in use: it can be eaten fresh, used for pickling and preserving, and for preparing various home dishes. Thanks to its juicy and succulent flesh, the fruits retain their flavor qualities through different processing methods, making this variety popular among gardeners and cooks. The seed producer is the Czech company Moravoseed, ensuring high-quality planting material.
