Description
PADISHAH is characterized by high yield — up to 3.5 kg of marketable fruits per square meter in open fields. The plant is sun-loving and prefers sunny spots with light, fertile, neutral pH soils that allow good water and air permeability. The variety is resistant to low temperatures, although growth slows at 13 °C, and the plant dies at 0 °C. For successful cultivation, seedling method is recommended: seeds are sown in February into seedling trays with soil mix at a depth of no more than 1 cm, maintaining germination temperature of 23-27 °C. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground in early June with spacing of 40x40 cm.
PADISHAH pepper is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, canning, and other processing methods. The plant prefers infrequent but abundant watering with warm water and positively responds to nitrogen fertilizers. The variety can be grown after carrots, cabbage, beets, legumes, and cucurbits, making it convenient for crop rotation in gardens.
