Description
Palermo Obedius is a medium-height, spreading, and long-growing plant with moderate leafiness. It exhibits high resistance to blossom end rot and tobacco mosaic virus, as well as tolerance to temperature fluctuations and insufficient light. Even fruit set contributes to stable yields, reaching 6.2–6.5 kg per square meter in greenhouse cultivation and 4.8–5.3 kg per square meter in open ground. The vegetative period lasts 70–75 days.
Palermo Obedius is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, and open ground. It responds well to foliar feeding, which enhances yield and fruit quality. Due to its dense flesh and transportability, this pepper is ideal for long-term storage and long-distance transport. This variety is versatile: it can be eaten fresh, used in home cooking, and also for canning and freezing.
