Description
Fruits of the Red Bull NK variety have a prism-shaped form and reach considerable sizes — up to 30 cm in length and 9 cm in diameter, with individual fruit weight reaching up to 400 grams under favorable conditions. Meaty and juicy fruits have wall thickness ranging from 6 to 8 mm, ensuring excellent taste and good storability. In biological ripeness, fruits turn bright red, while in technical ripeness, they remain green. The variety is resistant to most diseases and pests, contributing to stable and high yields.
Cultivation of Red Bull NK pepper begins with sowing seeds for seedlings 60–80 days before transplanting into the ground, typically late February to early March. With supplemental lighting, sowing can be done as early as late January. To accelerate germination, seeds are recommended to be pre-soaked in warm water and then kept in a moist environment. The pepper matures approximately 95 days after transplanting seedlings, yielding up to 18.8 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics and flavor, this variety enjoys well-deserved popularity among gardeners and farmers.
