Description
Fruits of the Silver Star pepper have a cube-shaped or elongated-cube shape, reaching 9-10 cm in length and 7-8 cm in width, with wall thickness of 8-10 mm. The average fruit weight is 140-160 grams. In technical maturity, the fruits are yellow-green or light-yellow, and in biological maturity, they turn into deep yellow or red. The flesh is juicy, crisp and moderately sweet, making them attractive for fresh consumption and culinary processing. The pepper retains its market appearance and nutritional properties during storage and transport.
The Silver Star F1 hybrid is characterized by high yield, forming 5-6 to 10 fruits per plant. Due to its ability to set fruit even at low temperatures, it can be planted early in spring in open ground, expanding the cultivation period.
