Description
'Bogatyr' pepper fruits have a conical shape with moderate ribbing, weighing 150 to 180 grams and with wall thickness of 5 to 8 mm. The vegetative period is 125-135 days to technical maturity, with biological maturity reached approximately after 150 days. In the technical maturity phase, fruits are light green or olive-colored, which then turns to intense red. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and meaty, with about 7% sugar and 130 mg ascorbic acid, providing excellent taste qualities.
The 'Bogatyr' variety is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, freezing, and processing. Due to its dense and firm skin, the peppers withstand long-distance transport and prolonged storage under proper temperature conditions. Recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, making this variety attractive for various climatic conditions and cultivation technologies.
