Cascade

The Cascade pepper variety is a medium-ripening, productive variety that reaches technical maturity 80-85 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant forms medium-height bushes, 60-70 cm tall, which makes it convenient to grow both in open ground and in greenhouses. This variety is characterized by high disease resistance and can produce well even under insufficient lighting and lower temperatures, making it suitable for various climatic conditions.

The fruits of the Cascade pepper are large, conical in shape with a rectangular cross-section, weighing 220-270 grams, and measuring 10-14 cm in length and 7-9 cm in width. At the biological maturity stage, they turn bright red, with wall thickness of 7-10 mm, providing a crisp and juicy flesh. The taste of the fruits is sweet and rich, with high flavor quality, and the flesh is rich in beneficial substances such as lycopene and beta-carotene.

Cascade is a heat- and moisture-loving variety best grown on sunny, wind-protected areas. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and are also ideal for processing: they can be marinated or steamed. For ease of sowing and to prevent counterfeiting, the seeds are coated with a safe dye. This variety is especially valued by gardeners for its high yield, excellent taste, and versatility of use.
