Description
The fruits of this hybrid have a narrow-conical shape, approximately 20 cm long, 3-4 cm in diameter, and weigh 50-70 g. In technical maturity, they are dark green, and in biological maturity, they turn deep red, giving them an attractive appearance. The peppers are smooth, glossy, two-chambered, with a wall thickness of up to 5-6 mm. The taste is moderately spicy, making them suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and spice preparation.
The EDWIN hybrid is characterized by uniform ripening and high heat tolerance, allowing cultivation in various climatic conditions. It is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), significantly reducing disease risks. The recommended planting density is 3-4 plants per square meter. The yield in open ground exceeds 4.0 kg/m², and in protected cultivation, it reaches about 7.0 kg/m², making it a profitable choice for gardeners and farmers.
