INDIAN ELEPHANT

The 'Indian Elephant' pepper variety is a medium-early hot pepper that ripens within 120-130 days from germination to full biological maturity. The plant is tall and spreading, reaching a height of 190-200 cm, and does not require staking. Leaves are slightly wrinkled, and the fruits have a distinctive trunk-like shape, as reflected in the variety's name. In technical maturity, the fruits are light green, and upon full ripening, they turn dark red with a strong gloss.

The weight of one fruit ranges from 25 to 35 grams, with a wall thickness of approximately 2 mm. The flavor is spicy, moderately hot, with a strong aroma, making them versatile in culinary applications. The 'Indian Elephant' pepper is widely used in canning, fresh salads, and as a spice. Additionally, the fruits are suitable for producing vitamin-rich powder — paprika.

The yield of this variety is quite high, averaging about 3-3.5 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics and versatility, this pepper variety is ideal for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
