Description
This variety is low-maintenance and easy to care for, requiring no plant shaping and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and indoors on a windowsill. Picanto pepper prefers light, fertile soil and bright light, but does not tolerate drought, so it requires regular watering and organic fertilization every 2-3 weeks. Seeds can be sown year-round for indoor cultivation and in February for open ground, with transplanting when the plant has 2-3 true leaves.
The peppers of Picanto have a spicy flavor with a mild heat, making them versatile for culinary use, home preservation, and canning. Due to their bright color and compactness, this variety is excellent not only for decorating garden beds and borders, but also for creating living hedges and decorative compositions indoors.
