The fruits of 'Recruit' pepper have round or elongated-conical shape, reaching 15-18 cm in length and 1.5-2 cm in diameter, weighing 10-25 grams. In technical maturity, they are light or dark green, and in biological maturity, they turn bright or dark red. Fruit wall thickness is about 3 mm. The flavor is moderately spicy, piquant and aromatic, making it versatile for use in fresh dishes, cooking, as well as for marinating, drying and preserving.
