Description
The fruits of Spartaco pepper have a cube-like shape with very uniform size of about 10x12 cm and weight of 180-250 grams. The wall thickness is 7-9 mm, giving the fruits a fleshy and juicy texture. In technical maturity, the fruits are milky-white, and upon full ripening, they turn bright red. The taste of the fruits is sweet and pleasant, making them ideal for fresh consumption, freezing, canning, and culinary processing. Due to their dense flesh and good transportability, the peppers maintain their quality during long-distance transportation and storage.
The Spartaco hybrid is characterized by high resistance to diseases, particularly tobamovirus (HR Tm:0), which significantly reduces the risk of yield losses. Plants continuously bear fruit throughout the entire production cycle, ensuring a steady and abundant harvest. The recommended planting density is 45-50 thousand plants per hectare, contributing to maximum yield. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, Spartaco pepper is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain a high-quality, market-demanding product.
