SWEET PEPPER 'KARAS'

Sweet pepper variety 'Karas' is a medium-early, low-growing vegetable suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. The plants of this variety are compact, reaching a height of 30 to 45 cm, and do not require additional pruning, significantly simplifying plant care. The period for ripening the first fruits is 95 to 105 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short periods.

The main feature of the 'Karas' variety is its large, conical fruits with an unusual two-colored coloring. In technical maturity, they have a bright yellow color with dark purple streaks, and in biological maturity, they acquire a rich orange hue with purple and red speckles. The weight of the fruits varies from 200 to 400 grams, and the wall thickness reaches 7-8 mm. The fruits have a glossy skin and an incredibly sweet taste with subtle fruity notes, as well as a strong aroma.

The 'Karas' variety is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and freezing. It prefers sunny areas with light, fertile neutral soils and can be grown after crops such as carrots, cabbage, beets, legumes (except beans), and cucurbits. It is recommended to avoid planting peppers near cucumbers.
