VOSTORG

Pepper VOSTORG — an early-maturing hybrid, characterized by a compact semi-spreading plant reaching 60-70 cm in height. The fruits have a shortened-conical shape with a blunt tip, three-celled, weighing from 160 to 200 grams, up to 10-13 cm in length and 7-8 cm in diameter. The fruit wall thickness is 6-8 mm. Immature fruits are light green, and upon ripening, they turn into a rich red color and possess juicy, sweet flesh with excellent flavor. The fruits are located under the foliage, which protects them from sunburn and helps preserve quality.

This hybrid is suitable for a wide range of applications: fresh consumption, home cooking, canning, processing, and freezing. Pepper VOSTORG is distinguished by high yield — from 5.9 to 7.3 kg per square meter. The plant is low-maintenance, disease-resistant, and moderately cold-tolerant, allowing successful cultivation even in cooler regions.

For cultivation, seedlings should be sown at the end of February, followed by transplanting in the cotyledon stage. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground at the end of May. During plant formation, all lateral shoots and leaves up to the first fork should be removed to promote better development of main fruits and increase yield.
