Description
The fruits of the YECLA pepper have a cube-shaped form with 3-4 chambers, average weight ranging from 160 to 280 grams, and dimensions reaching 9 by 11 centimeters. The thickness of the juicy and succulent walls is 8-10 mm. In technical maturity, the fruits have a dark green color, while in biological maturity they acquire a rich cherry-red hue. The flesh has a sweet taste without bitterness and a distinct aroma. The pepper retains its commercial and taste qualities during transport and storage, making it versatile for use fresh, for thermal processing, preservation, and processing.
The YECLA F1 hybrid is characterized by rapid and stable fruiting: the first harvest can be obtained as early as 60-62 days after transplanting seedlings. Up to 10 to 16 uniform fruits can form simultaneously on one plant, while the fruiting period maintains consistent shape and size of peppers. The hybrid possesses genetically built resistance to common diseases such as blossom end rot and tobacco mosaic virus, ensuring reliability and high-quality yield. Yield reaches up to 3.5 kg per plant in protected soil and up to 15-20 kg in open soil.
