Description
Fruits have a horn-shaped, narrow-conical form, 20-24 cm long and 2-3 cm in diameter, with a wrinkled surface and transverse wavy texture. The weight of one fruit is 40-60 g. Immature fruits are green, turning waxy-yellow upon ripening, and becoming red when fully ripe and dried. The taste is medium-spicy with a spicy aroma, less pungent compared to other hot varieties, making this pepper versatile for home cooking, canning, pickling, and preparation of spicy pastes.
The variety is cold-tolerant, has good storability and transportability, does not require staking, and features prolonged and abundant fruiting. Recommended planting distance is 30x40 cm, and it is advisable to avoid planting near sweet pepper varieties to prevent cross-pollination and flavor alteration. 'Yellow Bandit' is suitable for industrial year-round cultivation using light culture in protected ground, as well as for cultivation on windowsills.
