Description
Fruits of the 'Jan Tar' variety are large, conical, with a smooth surface, weighing 90-110 grams. In technical maturity, they are green, and at biological maturity, they develop a rich amber-orange hue. Fruit walls are 6-8 mm thick, ensuring juiciness and excellent taste. The variety has high yield — on average 3-3.7 kg per square meter, and with proper agronomy, up to 7 kg per square meter can be achieved.
Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late February to early March, with transplanting in the seedling stage. Planting in the ground is carried out at the end of May, following a 30 x 40 cm planting scheme. The variety is versatile in use: fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for all types of processing. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, 'Jan Tar' pepper is popular among gardeners and farmers.
