Description
The fruits of Turbine pepper have a cube or prism shape with 3-4 chambers, measuring approximately 12 by 16 cm, weighing between 180 to 250 grams, and wall thickness of 6-7 mm, sometimes up to 1 cm. In technical maturity, the fruits are light green, while in biological maturity they acquire a rich yellow hue. They have a pleasant, richly sweet taste and pronounced aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption, freezing, canning, and culinary use, including stuffing.
The hybrid is distinguished by its very early maturity — from germination to technical maturity, it takes 55-75 days. For obtaining high-quality seedlings, it is recommended to sow seeds from early to mid-March, followed by transplanting into the soil from mid-May to mid-June. The pepper responds well to mineral fertilization and adapts to various growing conditions, enabling a stable yield both in greenhouses and in open ground.
